RadiusSTAR
provides an easy-to-use administration system for Mikrotik
Routers and Wireless Acces Points. With a help of a
centralized accounting system (which is provided by a Radius
Server) the user management for ISP's with more than one
Wireless Access Points (AP) becomes a simple task.
Mikrotik Access Points connects to the Radius server (links
can be wireless or wired). The following task are automated
with the help of this structure:
- login authentication: authenticates
users from the centralized database. Two types of
authentication is provided: MAC and username/password
based.
- traffic accounting: AP periodically
sends the accounting information to Radius server which
stores it in its database.
- account expiration date: You can
handle your monthly accounts easily.
- uptime limitation: for dialup
systems.
- traffic limitation: when a
predefined traffic limit is reached (which is
configurable for every user), the AP disconnects the
user.

At
the core of IDSV eSolutions's next generation switching
solutions is the award-winning VP3500 Series Class 5
Softswitch. Combining over 100 Class 5 features with advanced
VoIP and VoATM broadband voice capabilities, the VP3500 is the
ideal platform for service providers to
- migrate
from traditional Class 5 switches to a next generation
network architecture
- deploy
new services such as IP Centrex and Unified Messaging.
The VP3500
Series Class 5 Softswitch solution encompasses a range of
components in an open, standards-based next generation
architecture.
- The
VP3510 chassis is a carrier-class, NEBS-compliant platform
with fully redundant CPUs, fans, disks and alarm cards. A
passive midplane architecture and built-in dual TDM/packet
backplane provides for reliable, high-speed communications
between the interface cards.
- The call
agent (CA) implements the intelligence required for
subscriber services and control of the VP3500 media and
signaling gateway components. It may be located on
standalone servers or integrated on the processor blade of
the VP3500 chassis.
- The media
gateway (MG) provides the physical interfaces for voice over
IP, ATM and TDM, along with DSPs for transcoding and echo
cancellation.
- The
signaling gateway (SG) provides the physical interfaces for
SS7 and MF signaling to other networks, as both an end
office / Class 5 and local tandem / Class 4 switch. The SG
functionality may co-exist with one or more MG chassis.
- Other
SIP-based feature servers (provided by MetaSwitch and third
parties) provide enhanced services such as unified
messaging, pre/post-pay, calling card, and other
applications.
- A
powerful but easy-to-use
Element Management System and
Web self-care complete the solution with open management
interfaces for service provider technicians, customer
service reps and subscribers themselves.
